Cape Ember Coffee Co. began with a simple idea: that some of life's best conversations happen over a great cup of coffee.
Although we aren't originally from the Western Cape, the last five years have given our family the privilege of calling the Garden Route home. During that time, we came to love the people, the slower pace of life and the incredible landscapes that make this part of South Africa so special.
Over countless coffees shared with friends, neighbours and new faces, we realised that coffee has a unique way of bringing people together. It creates space to slow down, connect and enjoy the moment.
Those experiences inspired the beginning of Cape Ember.
We don't roast coffee ourselves. Instead, we partner with experienced South African roasting specialists to craft exceptional blends that reflect the places that have inspired us. Every coffee is carefully developed to capture the character of a South African destination, allowing each cup to tell the story of a place.
From the coastline of the Garden Route and the beauty of the fynbos to the open landscapes of the Karoo and the charm of Sedgefield, every blend is an invitation to discover a little more of this remarkable country.
