While all of our coffees can be brewed using different methods, certain blends truly shine when paired with specific brewing styles. These guides are not rules — they are invitations to slow down, pay attention, and let the coffee speak.

Ember Reserve Blend
Recommended BlendEmber Reserve delivers exceptional body, sweetness, and complexity under pressure extraction. Its rich chocolate notes and balanced acidity create a premium café-quality espresso.

Fynbos Roast
Recommended BlendThe Brazilian origin and natural sweetness cut beautifully through milk, producing a smooth and indulgent cappuccino.

Garden Route Blend
Recommended BlendGarden Route's vibrant character shines in slower filter methods, revealing its delicate fruit and caramel sweetness.
- 01Rinse filter with hot water. Discard rinse water.
- 02Add coffee. Bloom with 40g water for 30 seconds.
- 03Slowly pour remaining water in concentric circles.
- 04Allow full drawdown. Serve immediately.

Karoo Blend
Recommended BlendThe full-bodied nature of Karoo Blend creates a comforting, robust cup with plenty of depth — coffee as it was meant to be felt.
- 01Add coffee to plunger.
- 02Pour water evenly over grounds. Stir gently.
- 03Place lid. Wait 4 minutes.
- 04Press slowly and serve immediately.

Ember Reserve Blend
Recommended BlendCold brewing amplifies the natural sweetness and chocolate notes while reducing acidity — a slow, patient extraction that rewards.
- 01Combine coffee and cold water. Stir to saturate.
- 02Refrigerate overnight (16–18 hours).
- 03Filter through fine mesh or paper filter.
- 04Serve over ice. Dilute 1:1 if desired.

Garden Route Blend
Recommended BlendAeroPress highlights the blend's sweetness and fruit-forward character while maintaining excellent body — versatile, precise, and deeply satisfying.
Weigh, Don't Scoop
A kitchen scale is the single greatest upgrade to your brew. Volume is inconsistent. Mass is truth.
Water is Half the Cup
Use filtered water between 90–96°C. Tap water and boiling water are the two fastest ways to ruin a great bean.
Grind Fresh, Always
Ground coffee stales within minutes. A burr grinder — even an entry-level one — will transform your cup overnight.
